Natural Cleaning Tips

Before spending money on expensive products filled with harsh chemicals that’ll leave nasty scents in your home, consider using multipurpose and natural essential oils!

1.  Make a natural all-purpose cleaner.

Did you know that Lavender Essential Oil smells fantastic and has antibacterial properties? It can also be used to make an all-purpose cleaner and disinfectant spray.

To do this, fill a spray bottle with warm water and add about ten drops of Guaranteed Irish ULTRAPURE Laboratories® Lavender Essential Oil. Shake the solution and spray it on surfaces within your home. You can also use this spray to freshen up clothing and linens, as well as an air freshener and room spray.

2.  Keep bins smelling fresh and clean.

Bins often smell, especially during the warmer humid months. So it’s important to empty bins regularly and clean them using warm soapy water. However, this may not get rid of nasty smells.

To solve this, soak a couple of cotton balls in 5 drops of ULTRAPURE Laboratories® Tea Tree Essential Oil and drop them into your clean bin (under the bin bag). The Tea Tree Oil will naturalise the odour and help fight bacteria with its natural antibacterial properties.
