Want glowing, healthy skin all summer long? Here are five simple skincare tips to achieve a radiant glow.

1.  Protect

Wearing a good quality SPF is the most fundamental step in your skincare routine, but it’s essential to protect your skin during long summer days when UV rays are high.  Apply sun cream to exposed skin, including the hands, feet, lips, and ears. Reapply throughout the day, especially after swimming.  Try to look for some shade during the peak hours of sunlight (12 pm to 3 pm) to avoid damaging your skin. In addition, choose an SPF specially designed for the face to help prevent breakouts.

2.  Soothe

Unfortunately, even when wearing SPF, the sun’s powerful rays can damage the skin, causing sunburn. The degree of the burn depends on the level of skin damaged by UV rays. Third and fourth-degree burns need medical attention. To treat first and minor burns, you should first take a cold shower to cool down the skin. Stay hydrated and sip on water, as sunburn may leave you feeling dehydrated. 3.  Exfoliate
